  19. Fay Dimitriadi says:

omg I’m a new subscriber and I just realised u uploaded this video exactly one year ago ._. <3 btw I love u already

  20. Raeyne Jaymeson says:

You just earned another subscriber.. I’m like you, I love the horror genre and while your list may be different from mine, that’s cool too.

    10. On yours is Ginger Snaps, while I did not care for it because it didn’t feel very frightening. I’ll match you one and give you.. The Howling. Sticking with the werewolf movie, its frightening and very good.
    9. The decent.. I have to agree with ya there. This one meets the best standard in that the monster is hidden until the right time to bring it out of hiding. It did have a claustrophobia feel to it and that’s what made the movie work.
    8. While I have not seen this one, but I’ve been meaning to. I have seen the 1st movie. Basically the story is pretty much the same as the 1st, except there’s more Bughuul in it. Where as the 1st kept him away from the view of the camera til the very last scene. The story of the 1st one, did not impress me. But seeing his face move in the computer image was enough to make Sinister memorable. Um.. In the 1st movie, it did say that Bughuul was the eater of children. He’d eat their souls.
    7. Now, the remake was unimpressive and very lame to me, I loved the original. The original vs the remake of the evil dead.. Its a basic copy of the original, except the remake made Ash a woman and made her boyfriend a giant wuss. The ending with it raining blood made no sense whatsoever and it didn’t hold my attention for long.
    6. Saw, to me had no story line and I couldn’t figure out what the story was about. But.. The movie I will raise you is.. Saw 3. I understood the story in that one and that made it hard to watch. Mainly with the story of a man who lost his son and Jigsaw brought everyone who was responsible for the child’s death. The death scenes are incredibly disturbing and it made me cringe more than the 1st Saw could.
    5. I’ll agree there. I didn’t watch anymore of the series because there’s no way it could be as good as the original. The concept was good, the story was there and the scares were placed perfectly without overdoing it on the jumpscares.
    4. Thank goodness you picked the original and not that lame ass remake. The story of the original may leave out some things, but its all about the less you know the better off you are. Sometimes not knowing is best. Why did Michael kill Lynda, Bob and Annie.. Who knows. Why did he stage their bodies in that manner, no one knows. But.. It works that way.
    3. At least it isn’t the terrible remake. The original is the best, just stay away from the 2nd movie. The story is perfect, the scares are placed so when it happens, your guard is raised and you no longer feel safe.
    2. Good choice.. Its amazing what a haunted hotel, writer’s block and cabin fever can do to a person’s mind. With Jack, it made him lose his mind. But, the question still remains, what is the message that the picture is trying to send. Perhaps the line "I’d give my soul for a drink" came back to collect.
    1. While the Lost Boys is a great film, it doesn’t feel like the perfect horror film. But, its your list.. But, I’ll raise you to.. Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Sticking with the vampire films.. Bram Stoker’s Dracula embodies the entirety of Dracula. He’s in human form to disguise himself from others to seek his prey. He’s a mist when he’s about to attack and doesn’t want to be conspicuous and he goes into his main form when he’s backed into a corner and ready to fight.
Not a bad list, on your part.. But, at least you didn’t stick with one sub-genre of horror, you went to them all.. Except for psychological.
