  22. Daymon Rondino says:

I think Scream is the most important movie on the list, saved the horror genre, and changed how we watch horror movies. Should definitely have been number 1. I dont even consider SOTL a horror. (facepalm)

    when it was #1 I was like,"OMG YES!!!"😁

  28. Trevor Emmert says:

    I meant just misery

  29. Sara Moore says:

I was barely a teen when the Blair Witch Project premiered and I was not scared. Where is the Frighteners on this list? I’d definitely say that Tremors is more of a horror than Silence of the Lambs. I think that’s more of a psychological thriller…Sometimes, I don’t know about these lists…

  30. Latisha Croissant says:

SOTL isn’t even scary in my opinion, Scream should be number 1. Revitalized horror, had the best chase scenes, kept you guessing about the killer, had just the right amount of blood and gore, incredibly witty with tons of hidden messages and Easter eggs, aesthetically pleasing, a kick ass protagonist, and just the right amount of jump scares and actual suspends mixed together. One of my all time favorite movies regardless of genre.

  31. Maxime Martin says:

    evil dead 3 ? seriously ?!

  32. Nick Michalak says:

Fuck this video! No mention of The Exorcist III, In The Mouth of Madness, Stir of Echoes, or New Nightmare, but you give films like Stigmata and The Faculty honorable mentions, two films that practically NO ONE talks about anymore. Might as well throw in End of Days. And Army of Darkness does not get to be labeled a horror movie just because it’s a sequel to two horror movies. It’s a slapstick comedy fantasy adventure. It makes zero effort to be any bit genuinely scary to have it qualify as horror.

  33. Augusto Santiesteban says:

And I know what you do last summer?

  34. Connor Brennan says:

Blair Witch Project is an overrated, lazy, and uneventful slog. Plus, Misery should have been in the top 10, not merely an honorable mention. Wes Craven’s New Nightmare should have also been in there; in my eyes, it’s better than Scream.

  35. TREZIPOO IS BAE says:

    Candyman deserved #1

  36. chop chop says:

    mine is scream

  37. justin daniels says:

why isn’t the movie IT on this list and why is misery an honorable mention ? misery should of been on this list like wtf

  38. SharkMast3r Izzo says:

    it?

  39. jill valentine in real life says:

Ever since my first Halloween as a baby

  40. Trevor Emmert says:

also it should have been in thete

  41. TREZIPOO IS BAE says:

CANDYMAN HAD TO BE 10. THE SCARIEST MOVIE ABOUT THE HOOD! BECAUSE HE BLACK

  42. Zane Wong says:

Wait I realized something didn’t Ash from Dead Alive have a game based on that movie

  43. Zachary Schneller says:

    Audition?

  44. Harley Quinn says:

My favorite horror movie is :
    Halloween and Friday the 13th

  45. Hunter Kitty says:

Now here’s my own Top Decade 90’s Horror Films in Each Year:

1990: "Night of the Living Dead" (Remake Version)

1991: "The Silence of the Lambs"

    1992: "Braindead" a.k.a "Dead Alive"

    1993: "Cronos"

    1994: "Wes Craven’s New Nightmare"

1995: just only "Se7en" (Its creepier what are you expected it.)

    1996: "From Dusk Till Dawn"

    1997: "Event Horizon"

1998: "Ringu" (Much better than the remake version.)

    1999: "Audition"

Now here’s some overrated horror films that they’re are whack:

    – Scream (1996)
    – The Blair Witch Project (1999)
    – The Sixth Sense (1999)

At least "The Faculty" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" are more better than "Scream" films.

  50. Trevor Emmert says:

the Blair witch project and misery should have been in the top 10
