(I thought I did a review for Tucker and Dale vs. Evil but I guess not!)

  38. giovanni deldio says:

Mine are: re-animator, aliens, a nightmare on elm street, suspiria, night of the living dead, Halloween, the Texas chainsaw massacre, Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, & the howling. (All originals, not remakes).

  39. Lance Lust says:

I may understand the logic behind Sloth in Seven being your reference to the horror genre for that movie, but I have to disagree. For me it’s a thriller.

Misery is the one movie on your list that I really don’t understand how anyone can get horror out of it. Every piece of that movie is a suspense/thriller setup. Listen, I know, there’s instances of horror in many thrillers, like Silence of the Lambs, straight up thriller, but it’s on many people’s horror lists. The difference with Silence is that its has Gothic trappings, thus it’s close. But what exactly is it with Misery that is considered horror? I’m not trying to be a troll, nor trying to bully others into thinking the same thing. It’s just that ever since it came out I’ve never been able to understand why anyone would call it horror.
